Shogo Hiruta earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science at Tohoku University in chemical engineering. After graduation, he has worked for six years in semiconductor development and manufacturing industries in research and development, and three years in an NPO specializing in geopolitics of former Soviet countries. He combines his expertise in geopolitics with an inside view of the semiconductor industry to explore geoeconomics, national security, and supply chain analysis. He is fluent in Russian and English, in addition to his native Japanese.
