Önceleri Rusya’ya karşı tavır almak hususunda gönülsüz davranan Avrupa ülkelerinin tepkisi de gecikmedi. Bu ülkeler Rusya’nın SWIFT sisteminden atılması, Rus Merkez Bankasının varlıklarının dondurulması gibi ekonomik yaptırımlara iştirak etmelerinin yanı sıra Ukrayna’ya silah desteği vereceklerini de açıktan ilan ettiler.

24 Şubat Perşembe sabahından bu yana Rus ordusunun Ukrayna’da başlattığı saldırı, işgal veya savaş olarak tanımlanabilecek gelişmeler dünya gündeminde ilk sırada yer almakta. Bu çerçevede, can kayıpları yaşandığına, Ukrayna’daki stratejik bazı hedeflerin Rus kuvvetlerince kontrol altına alındığına, silahlı çatışmaların Ukrayna’nın çok geniş bir kesiminde vuku bulmakta olduğuna ve saldırıların yer yer sivil halk ve objelere de zarar verdiğine şahit oluyoruz.

The finding of the European Court which merits attention is that “as a matter of principle, the mere fact of downloading or using a means of encrypted communication or indeed the use of any other method of safeguarding the private nature of exchanged messages could not in itself amount to evidence capable of satisfying an objective observer that an illegal or criminal activity was being engaged in”.

Aralarında ABD, Almanya, Fransa ve Hollanda Büyükelçilerinin de bulunduğu Türkiye’de görevli 10 Büyükelçi ulusal ve uluslararası hukuka riayet edilerek 4 yıldır tutuklu olan Osman Kavala’nın serbest bırakılmasını talep etti. Bu ortak açıklamanın ardından Cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan, açıklamaya imza atan Büyükelçilerin istenmeyen kişi (persona non grata) ilan edilmeleri için Dışişlerine talimat verdiğini duyurdu.

Turkey Tribunal (Tribunal), a Belgium-based independent civil society organization established by academics, former international judges and lawyers, held a series of hearings in Geneva between 20-24 September 2021. The Tribunal is a citizens’ tribunal designed to serve as a forum to assess the grave human rights violations taking place in Turkey, similar to the Russell Tribunal and the World Tribunal on Iraq.

Along with the “Arab Spring” that broke out at the end of 2010 and the escalation of the civil war in Syria after 2011, the countries in the region, notably Turkey, and Europe faced an unprecedented influx of migration, resulting in a refugee crisis in the EU in 2015.

O presente relatório tem por objetivo suscitar e analisar os atos escandalosos e/ou omissões das autoridades turcas contra indivíduos - a quem alegam estar afiliados, ligados ou membros do Grupo Gülen - no âmbito da competência legal do crime contra a humanidade.

Ce rapport vise à susciter et à analyser les actes et/ou omissions scandaleux des autorités turques à l’encontre de personnes – qui, selon elles, sont affiliées au Groupe Gülen, y sont liées ou sont membres de celui-ci – relevant du crime contre l’humanité.  

This report aims to elicit and analyze the outrageous acts and/or omissions of the Turkish authorities against individuals –whom they claim are affiliated with, connected to, or members of the Gülen Group– within the legal purview of crime against humanity.
