M. Hasim Tekines is a researcher at the Brussels-based Institute for Diplomacy and Economy. Previously, he worked as a diplomat at the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. His areas of interest include Turkish foreign policy, Islamism, Middle Eastern studies, and international relations. Tekines’ studies have been published in the Journal of Politics, Religion, & Ideology, The Hague Journal of Diplomacy, Middle East Policy, and Mediterranean Politics. He has also published commentaries at Fikra Forum, National Interest, War on the Rocks.
